The winter hockey season is only a few weeks away. I can’t believe how fast time fly’s. Thank you to everyone who participated in the fall league. It’s been so much fun. I’ve really enjoyed watching all the friendships form and bonds made. This has been such a great way to meet new people and make new friends. Our traditional Thanksgiving Day game was a huge success! It has become my favorite day of the year. Thank you guys for making it so much fun. I’m already looking forward to next years games! But in the mean time the New Years Day game is right around the corner. That is a blast too! I hope you will all be able to join us. The games will start around 1pm. I will send an e-mail out to sign up in a few days. The Wednesday Night League will start January 2nd and end April 17th. The game will be played at 8:50pm. There has been so much interested in Wednesday’s night that I’m hoping to expand the times for next year. But for now sign ups are a first come first serve basis. It’s a mixed skill level league. The Sunday Morning League will begin January 6th and will end April 7th. Games will be played at 10:20am and 11:30am. The C League plays at 10:20am and the D League plays at 11:30am. If you are unsure of which league would be best for you please call me and I will go over everything with you to make sure you are comfortable. Please remember this is also a first come first serve basis as well and spots are limited. The Saturday morning skills clinic is at 10:40am. The clinic will run every Saturday through June 2013. It will focus on improving basic skills such as skating, passing, puck control, shooting as well as an introduction to the team aspect of hockey including breakouts, team fore checking and defensive coverage.
