| The Beginner/Mite school is
geared toward the younger players who need instruction in the fundamentals of skating,
stopping, starting, backward skating and building good coordination and balance. This beginning group will receive very special attention from our coaches. Their two hour course will give them a review of the skating techniques with the emphasis placed on each student's weaknesses as noted by the instructors. The players will progress to stick handling, shooting, passing, position play and team work. Students must supply their own personal equipment, plus head gear and face masks. |
CHAMPIONSHIP HOCKEY SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY Over the last few years our coaches have the consensus that the overall skill level of today's youth hockey players is diminishing across the board. It is for this reason that we have decided to limit the the scrimmaging in order to spend more time on a variety of drills and instruction on fundamentals and individual skills. It is our objective to have every student improve in each phase of the game through repetitive use of skill drills taught in a variety of ways. |

Hockey School jersey will be awarded to each student registered for the
regular school by Aug 1, 2013
(one shirt per skater regardless of weeks registered) A $50.00 Deposit is required with each application. |
| Goalie scholarships will be available through a drawing on Aug. 1, 2013. |
